Birds of prey are the avowed kings and queens of the sky; a bioindicator and an apex predator. They are equip with keen eye sight, bone crushing talons, and skillful flights to perform their ecological niche as top predators. Having unique adaptations that sets them apart from other birds doesn’t save them from human intervention in the environment. Birds of prey suffer from hunting, habitat lost, poaching and poisoning. The survival of the Philippine Raptors is entwined with the survival of the Philippine Forest.

The page is dedicated to educate the public about the indigenous and endemic raptors in the Philippines. This page will serve as a database for raptors; discussing about their taxonomy, role in the ecosystem, and behavior.
