Daily Prayer

Dear God, thank You for another day. Thank You for this moment and for being with me through every chapter of my life. Sometimes I find myself asking You to take me out of situations that are stretching me, but now I see—maybe You placed me here on purpose. Your word in James 1:4 says, “Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” So even when it’s uncomfortable, I know that You are still working. Help me stop just praying to escape and instead ask, “What do You want to do through me while I’m in this?” Use what You’ve placed inside of me to be a light right where I am. I want to grow, not just get through. Teach me to trust that there’s fruit in the process, and that You never waste pain. Thank You for hearing my prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
