Today we celebrate the annual Lunar New Year’s Day, or also known as Spring Festival. 🧧
In China, it is the most significant 15-day festival since it serves as a foundation for preserving family harmony, paying respect to ancestors, and welcoming rebirth. It stands for a new beginning, getting rid of bad luck and welcoming good fortune. It also strengthens cultural identity through customs like reunion banquets and crimson décor we often see outside at this time of the year. 🏮
