For Weeks 3 and 4 of Betamax, Brianna will be played by Manok Nellas-Bagadiong.

It has been a privilege to witness Jorrybell shape Brianna over nearly two months of rehearsals, navigating revisions, discoveries, and personal battles along the way. It has been equally remarkable to watch Manok step into the role as a quick study with only a few days to study the material, learn the blocking, adjust to the space, and prepare for performance under extraordinary circumstances.

Theater never happens alone.

I am deeply grateful to Sean Inocencio and Jam Binay for embracing, exploring, and supporting two different—but equally truthful—Ate Briannas along the way.

This production has reminded me of bravery, kindness, generosity, trust, self-love, consideration, surrender, at ang tahimik na paraan ng pagsuporta natin sa isa't isa kapag kinakailangan.

They say you can only open a show once. Apparently, Betamax had other plans.
