Archetype Architecture

La Carinderia Manila, originally from Siargao Island and now in Manila, is a humble ode to the rhythm of island life brought to the metro. Drawing inspiration from Siargao’s vernacular charm, the design departs from Archetype Architecture’s usual formalism, embracing a more grounded, tactile approach. It’s a modernist interpretation of the Filipino carinderia and tropical brutalism; approachable, honest, and rooted in Filipino identity.
