PI APPROXIMATION DAY!

On this day, July 22 appears as 22/7; this is a rough estimation of the value of Pi. It represents the equivalent of 3.14 in decimal form. Physicist Albert Einstein was also born on July 22, making the occasion notable for other reasons. On July 22, 2018, theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking passed away.

However, many people observe March 14 as Pi Day because of the date's alignment with the figures in the well-known constant 3.14. Nevertheless, the US uses such a method for writing dates most frequently used.

What is Pi?
Pi is the reciprocal of the circumference-to-diameter ratio of any circle. The Greek letter for p or Pi (π) represents it.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY, MGA KA-READERS!

💙Trivia For Today💙

Philippines gained self-government from the United States on July 4, 1946, it had declared its independence 48 earlier on June 12, 1898, the date Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed the independence of the Filipinos at Kawit, Cavite. The United States did not grant our independence;it restored it. From the start of American colonial rule to July 3, 1946, it can be said that our independence was in a state of suspended animation.
Here are the salient points why does independence day should be celebrated in June 12.

1. United States celebrates their independence from British every 4th of July. Our celebration will be dwarfed and the international community and diplomats would fail to celebrate and recognize us.
2. Philippine Independence Day is a date that was made and declared by the US Congress, not by the Filiino, whereas June 12 was chosen and declared by the Filipino people.
3. If the Philippines would celebrate independence every July 4, the international community would think Philippines as not free but all remained a part of US.
