THE BOILER ROOM 3

Welcome to the BOILER ROOM 3!
The Toxic Gaming Events series of CEDH tournaments from February until October 2026 culminates to its biggest event of the year.

Players need to qualify to gain a slot for the event. Once all have been allocated, waitlisted players will be offered slots based on time of eligibility.

How to Qualify?

• A player must have played in at least five (5) TG Events from February 2026 until October 2026.
• A maximum of One (1) bye can be awarded to one player for the season.
• Byes are non transferable.
• All players eligible for the Boiler Room are automatically sent a letter of confirmation with regards to their slot for the event. The invitation secures the player a reserved slot for the event. Payment for the said slot will finalize a player’s inclusion for the Boiler Room. Slots will be filled on a per tournament basis giving priority to those who fulfilled eligibility requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why the eligibility clause?
- Our vision of a Competitive EDH environment is a kill or be killed mentality putting players in a position to hone their skills in a tournament setting while still being able to have fun. Multiple build-up events are there to cultivate this mindset and familiarize players with the format. Slots will prioritize those who are able to qualify earlier.
- There will be 13 other events between January until October 2026. Please see calendar for more details.

Season 3 qualifying tournaments

- A total of four (4) Non Proxy events and nine (9) 10 card proxy legal events will be held from February until October 2026.
- A player can qualify by playing and completing at least two (2) rounds in five (5) events for both proxy and non proxy events combined.

Why the proxy events?
- Hearing feedback from our players, it was agreed to have proxy events as part of the build-up towards the Boiler Room.

- A cap of ten (10) cards is set as the limit. This will strike a balance regarding us supporting Wizards in buying their product at the same time not gatekeep other players from joining due to lack of access to cards. Having a full proxy event would be counterproductive.

- All proxies should be declared beforehand and will be inspected.

Where are the byes?
- A minimum of twenty four (24) players for non proxy and thirty two (32) players for proxy events are required for one (1) bye to be given away.

- Bye(s) awarded is considered a match win for the round. A total of three (3) points is awarded to the player. They will not be participating in the matches until all of the bye(s) have been applied.

- All remaining players will proceed to be paired in their respective pods.
- A maximum of One (1) bye can be awarded to one player for the entire season.

It had come to our attention that there was an incident of collusion during one of our previous tournaments. A warning was issued which, combined with a previous similar warning from a different tournament, was upgraded into a game loss. A different player involved was also given a suspension for one event. Both these sanctions were handed out and applied to the recently concluded Supremacy Bracket 5 Proxy CEDH Tournament on Oct 19, 2025.

Please be reminded to be attentive of our conduct as players during tournaments. We take such matters seriously and penalties will apply when need be. Also, should you have concerns, do not hesitate to inform the tournament organizers or judges.
