CIEโs Benildean Inclusion Story
Our Center, The Center for Inclusive Education (CIE), was established in 2015 under the Office of the President to address the De La Salle-College of Saint Benildeโs (Benilde) goal of creating an inclusive community.
Officially transferred under the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academics in 2020, our mandate is to make Benilde an inclusive environment for its members by collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure the elimination of barriers to inclusion.
Rooting from the Collegeโs Vision-Mission, we drafted our own statement to serve as a guiding principle, not only for our members, but also for the Benildean Community. Our Vision-Mission states:
We commit to the vision of a โBenilde for Allโ by working with the Benildean community and being of service to its members as they reach their full potential in order to build a just and humane society.
