After four seasons representing the Red-and-White, UE Womenβs Volleyball Team (UEWVT) standout Khy Cepada bids farewell as she officially enters the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Rookie Draft.
Cepada poured her heart out in an Instagram post yesterday, May 26, as she officially closed her collegiate chapter with UE.
βLord knows how hard I tried, every sweat, blood, and tear was poured into this journey, even on the days when giving up felt easier than continuing.
βThrough every season, I continued to show up, believe, and fight up until the very end,β she wrote.
Cepada began her stint in UAAP Season 85 and has since emerged as one of the teamβs key leaders on the court.
βI will always be grateful to the people who stood by me throughout this journey. For the support, trust, and memories we shared along the way. Every experience taught me lessons that I will carry with me beyond the game,β she concluded.
Despite UEWVT's winless campaign in UAAP Season 88, the 5β4β hitter remained one of UEβs bright spots, ranking seventh in Statistical Points (SPS) with an average of 64.773 across 44 sets played.
Alongside Cepada, former UEWVT Team Captain Kaycee Balingit and Setter Tin Ecalla were also included in the PVL Rookie Draft.
The draft is set to commence on June 3 at Novotel Manila Araneta City.

βDespite these challenges, Dy Echo remains hopeful that the country will improve its capacity to combat the disease.
ββI hope that the Philippines will be on its way to improving our capacity to really prevent cervical cancer through proper vaccination and screening,β she concluded.
βDy Echo was one of the keynote speakers at the βTogether for Health: Towards a Cervical Cancer-Free Philippinesβ forum, held today, May 26, at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
