✨🌿 On display: “Butingubal” (Nymphoides indica) 🌿✨

It’s still sinking in — my painting now hangs on the walls of the National Museum of Natural History, part of ANI: Our Assets, Natural Heritage, and Cultural Identity by the Philippine Botanical Art Society.

Butingubal is an aquatic plant found in shallow lakes and quiet streams, sometimes alongside water lilies. Its young leaves, stems, and fruits are reported to be edible and cooked as vegetables — a quiet testament to how biodiversity sustains us.
