On June 16, 2026, the UST Miguel de Benavides Library welcomed seventeen (17) librarians and staff members from the UP Law Library of the University of the Philippines, representing its Diliman and Bonifacio Global City campuses, for a benchmarking and learning visit.

The visit provided delegates with an opportunity to learn more about the Library's collection management, preservation practices, metadata processes, and digitization initiatives.

The UST Miguel de Benavides Library is grateful for this meaningful engagement and looks forward to continued collaboration with fellow library professionals in advancing library services, preservation initiatives, and the shared mission of supporting teaching, learning, and research.

The UST Miguel de Benavides Library proudly congratulates Sr. Lib. Jonas T. Sahagun, Head Librarian of the Civil Law Section, on the publication of a scholarly work, co-authored with Ms. Willian S.A. Frias, in the Information Generation & Management (IGM) journal.

Their study explores the evaluation of library training assessments in the context of Philippine academic law librarianship, underscoring the importance of effective training evaluation in strengthening professional development initiatives for library and information professionals.
