As we fly to Singapore in a bit, this is an open letter to the girl who chose to stand up, stronger than her pain.

When it was confirmed that I’d be representing the Philippines on the international stage, my world suddenly felt brighter. Everything became so much clearer, and I was overwhelmed with joy.

But just a few hours later, something happened that shattered me and turned everything I had envisioned upside down.

For days, I disappeared. I went completely MIA. No one could reach me, no one could see me, and even my team began to worry if I would still continue. The only thing I could tell them was, “Please give me time to breathe. Give me time to process everything. I’ll be back.”

And I did.

Today, we’re finally flying for the dream we’ve prayed and worked so hard for 💚

So this is for you, Lyndzy—the girl who refused to let heartbreak have the final say. The girl who chose courage over giving up. The girl who kept believing, even when everything around her was falling apart.

Your dream is finally unfolding.

Now, let’s carry our flag with pride and let the whole world hear us shout…
