This 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we are reminded that our planet is a gift entrusted to us by God. We are called not only to appreciate creation but to protect it. As emphasized in 𝙇𝙖𝙪𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙞’, caring for the environment means caring for human dignity and justice.

It starts with simple acts, such as segregating waste, conserving resources, and practicing “𝓽𝓪𝓹𝓪𝓽 𝓴𝓸, 𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓲𝓼 𝓴𝓸.”

🌱 Let this be more than a one-day effort. Make it a daily mission. Because every day is Earth Day when we choose to care. 💚

𝗜𝗸𝗮-𝟴𝟰 𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻: 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗧𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝗿𝗶𝗽𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻

Sa bawat patak ng pawis, luha, at dugong dumanak sa lupain ng Bataan at Corregidor walumpu’t apat na taon na ang nakalilipas, patuloy na nagliliyab ang diwa ng isang lahing tumangging sumuko sa harap ng pananakop. Ang 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣 ay hindi lamang pag-alala sa isang mahalagang yugto ng ating kasaysayan, kundi isang taos-pusong pagpupugay sa katapangan at sakripisyong inialay ng ating mga bayani upang makamit ang kalayaan na tinatamasa natin ngayon. Sa bawat pag-ihip ng hangin, tila naririnig pa rin ang kanilang panawagan ng tapang at pagkakaisa—isang paalala na ang tunay na pagmamahal sa bayan ay nasusukat sa paglilingkod at pag-aalay ng sarili para sa kapakanan ng nakararami.

Sa pagdiriwang natin ng ika-84 na Araw ng Kagitingan, nawa’y manatiling buhay sa ating puso’t isipan ang kanilang kabayanihan sa kabila ng mabilis na takbo ng makabagong panahon. Ang giting na ipinamalas ng ating mga beterano ay magsilbing inspirasyon upang taglayin natin ang tapang na tumindig para sa tama, ang malasakit sa kapwa, at ang matibay na paninindigang mahalin ang Pilipinas nang buong puso. Sa bawat pagtingala natin sa ating watawat, alalahanin natin ang mga bayaning nagbigay ng kanilang lahat upang tayo’y mabuhay nang malaya—isang walang hanggang pagpupugay sa kanilang kadakilaan at sakripisyo.
