The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh), through the Center for Culture and Arts Development (CCAD), in partnership with the Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage (BACH) Council, organized the Bohol Ukulele Festival Workshop on July 13, 2025, at the Provincial Capitol Ceremonial Hall.

This event was part of the Sandugo sa Bohol 2025 celebration and attracted ukulele enthusiasts from across the province and beyond to learn, connect, and celebrate Bohol’s thriving musical culture.

The workshop featured a series of talks from guest artists and musicians. Pao Gumba opened the sessions with a lecture on ukulele strumming techniques, followed by Joseph Gara, who discussed his creative journey as a musician. Diane Leigh concluded the discussions with insights on performing and connecting with audiences through the ukulele.

The event underscored the province’s ongoing efforts to support the creative sector and foster pride in Boholano identity through the arts.
