MANILA, Philippines βThe Department of Health (DOH) warned the public, particularly people living with human immunodeficiency virus (PLHIV), that they are more susceptible to developing tuberculosis (TB) due to a weakened immune system.

The Philippine National AIDS Council (PNAC) is aware of reports that Filipino travelers to Oman may be required to present an HIV test certificate.
Presently, this remains unconfirmed, and we are coordinating with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for clarification.
