The Political Science program clinched the top spot at the SocSci YAW 2026, held on April 24, 2026, at the UPM Theater, with their stirring performance, "Kasali, Kasapi, Kasosyo," which challenged students to fight against abusive systemic relationships in Filipino society.

The event, a major highlight of DSS Week 2026, showcased performances from various disciplines that tackled urgent social issues, encouraging student awareness and action.

"Kasali, Kasapi, Kasosyo" stood out for its intense portrayal of systemic issues, blending dramatic performance with critical commentary to expose the nuances of abusive relationships within society. The play, which earned high praise from the judges, serves as a powerful call for students to recognize, confront, and act against systemic injustices.

The success of this year's SocSci YAW confirms its role as a vital platform for student advocacy and creative expression in the University.
