HIGHLIGHT | 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜, 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐡: 𝐂𝐍𝐒𝐌 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬

The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics brought its 40th Founding Anniversary to a close as the Grand Magic Games unveiled its overall winners.

After two days of competitions across Patalbugan, Sports, Palarong Pinoy, the CNSM Pageant, and Opening Parade, the 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 emerged as the 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻, redeeming their legacy with an impressive sweep. The guild claimed the Championship in Patalbugan 2025, dominated the Sports Category, and added to their power with a 1st Runner Up in the CNSM Pageant.

Securing the spot of 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽, the 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 proved once again that precision and might make a powerful combination for the events. Their guild soared with their representatives as Mr. and Ms. CNSM, and a good finish in the Chinese Garter event for Palarong Pinoy.

With consistent high placements across multiple events, the 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘀𝘂𝘀 claimed the title of 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽. Their strong presence in Patalbugan, fueled by several special awards, highlighted their steady excellence and competitiveness.

Rounding off the roster, the 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 –𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 earned 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽, by their standout championship in the Opening Parade and the highly anticipated MLBB Tournament for the E-Sports Category.

As the Grand Magic Games drew to a close, the college celebrated not just victory, but unity. All participating guilds displayed talent, sportsmanship, and collaboration throughout the events. This year’s anniversary served as a powerful reminder that for forty years, CNSM has been strong through fostered innovation and built a culture of excellence and teamwork. The Grand Magic Games was more than just competition, it was a living testament to the spirit of the college.

CNSM dragons kicked off the 2nd day of their 40th founding anniversary celebration with the physical sports category, lighting up MSU's Grandstand with their athletic prowess.

The four departments of the college showed off their strength, skill, and teamwork on the basketball court. In an intense showdown, the men’s basketball team of the 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, followed by the 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽, 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽, and last but not the least, 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽, each leaving their mark with their remarkable plays.

Tension was also felt amongst the women basketball players, as they all showed off their dribbling skills it their own courts. 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 in a heated match against the 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽 in the finals. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽, while the 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽.

History repeated itself on the mat as the CNSM Dragons formally established a dynasty in the University Intramurals Arnis competition. It was this very history that brought CNSM the overall 3rd Runner-up in this year's UIG. Successfully defending its title, the team captured the Back-to-Back Overall Champion title.Their victory was a strategic masterclass, achieved by focusing exclusively on the technical demands of the Anyo and ex*****on events, where every athlete demonstrated superior skill and weapon handling required to maintain the program's dominant legacy.

𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗦

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗮 (Single Baston, Men) secured the Gold Medal through exceptional form, demonstrating precise movement and superior technique in his Single Baston routine. 𝗡𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗮 (Double Baston, Women) dominated her category, earning the Gold Medal with powerful, coordinated ex*****on and refined handling of the Double Baston form.

Meanwhile, 𝗔𝗯𝗯𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗰𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗼 (Single Baston, Women) claimed the Gold Medal by exhibiting flawless form, rhythmic accuracy, and a high level of proficiency in her Single Baston routine. Lastly, the 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 (𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻) 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 - composed of Faisah Gomampo, Candy Claire Rosal, and Katherine Lingo - secured the Gold Medal, earning high marks for their meticulous unison and technical accuracy throughout the demanding synchronized form event.

𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗦

𝗨𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺 (Double Baston, Men) earned the Silver Medal, showcasing rhythmic accuracy, superior form, and disciplined ex*****on in the Double Baston technical division, while the 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗻 (𝗔𝗻𝘆𝗼) 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 - comprised of Thalal Mauna, Moh’d Arham Arafat, and Jorayji Usman - also captured the Silver Medal, demonstrating impeccable alignment and precise ex*****on in the demanding synchronized form category.

The Dragons' success is a direct result of the athletes' rigorous preparation, setting a high benchmark for technical excellence in this year's Intramurals.
