John 21:15-19

From youth to maturity is the transition from leading ourselves to truly following Christ. True discipleship eventually requires us to relinquish our maps. It asks us to trust the Guide more than our ability to choose the destination. Peter’s ultimate greatness did not come from his fierce independence, but from his ultimate willingness to be led to a cross of his own, entirely surrendered to his Master's will.

He understood that Christ’s authority is not bound by distance, walls, or time. To believe that a single word from God is enough to transform a situation even when we cannot see the immediate results-is the ultimate definition of faith. It challenges us to ask ourselves. Do I trust the promise, or am I waiting for a sign?
