This Executive Order No. 73 of 2026 from Mati City advises 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀/𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 starting June 9, 2026 based on safety assessments, with no automatic resumption and coordination required.

It was the first day of school, and I noticed a father standing proudly beside his Grade 7 daughter, right there at the Flag Ceremony.

You could clearly see how much he supported her, stayed with her, and was there to share this new beginning with her.

Then suddenly, the ground began to shake hard. Everyone around us was startled and confused. But right in the middle of all that chaos, I saw him react instantly, he pulled her close and wrapped his arms around her, shielding her completely with his own body. While everything was trembling and people were rushing, he held her tight, making sure she was safe and protected.

In that moment, I witnessed firsthand that his presence wasn’t just about supporting her studies, it was unconditional love, turning him into her strongest shelter when it mattered most.
