25 May 2026: The GSIS Davao team recently participated in a Consultation Dialogue organized by the National Commission of Senior Citizens–XI, in partnership with the Davao City Government through the Office for the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA). The activity gathered OSCA heads from across the Davao Region to discuss programs, benefits, and welfare services for senior citizens.

In view of the work suspension announced by the City Government of Davao, the scheduled Service Caravan at Mintal Elementary School is hereby cancelled.

GSIS Davao Branch Office will conduct Service Caravan at the Mintal Elementary School, Mintal, Davao City on May 19, 2026.

In order to give way to clearing operations and ensure the safety and welfare of individuals affected by flooding incidents in the city due to heavy rainfall brought by Easterlies and ITCZ on Monday evening, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔:

1. Face-to-face classes and school activities in ALL LEVELS in all public and private educational institutions in the city are hereby suspended;

2. Work in all national and local government offices, including government-owned and controlled corporations in Davao City, is suspended, EXCEPT for offices performing safety and security, health, social services and disaster and emergency response services;

3. Private offices and establishments are given the discretion to suspend work but are encouraged to do so for the welfare and safety of their employees.
