𝙈𝘼𝙔 29, 2026 | 𝘾𝙊𝘼𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙇 𝘾𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙉-𝙐𝙋 𝘼𝙏 𝘽𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙉𝙂𝘼𝙔 𝙈𝘼𝘼𝙉𝘼𝙎, 𝙈𝙀𝘿𝙄𝙉𝘼, 𝙈𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙈𝙄𝙎 𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼𝙇

In line with our 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 to environmental stewardship and 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐔𝐩 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 under the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) was successfully conducted at Barangay Maanas, Medina, Misamis Oriental.

The activity brought together our dedicated 𝟏𝟐𝟎 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐒 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, the 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (PESO), the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝, and the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚, all working hand in hand toward a common goal—protecting and preserving our coastal environment for future generations.

This 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 marks the first of three coastal clean-up activities scheduled as part of the 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐒 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬’ 𝟐𝟎-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦. Two more clean-up activities will follow in other coastal barangays, further strengthening our collective efforts in promoting environmental responsibility and community involvement.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our beloved Municipal Mayor, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. “𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐲” 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐋. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧, for her unwavering support and commitment to environmental conservation, youth development, and community-centered programs. Her leadership continues to inspire initiatives that create positive and lasting impacts in our municipality.

A 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 also goes to the Barangay Local Government Unit of Maanas, the Sangguniang Kabataan, the Philippine Coast Guard, and all volunteers who generously shared their time and effort to make this activity a success.

Together, 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨—𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙘𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙘 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮.
