Here's some of the (painful) truth about the many "Budget Meal" PC Packages that is now swamping the market. Dub as "Windows 11 Compatible", best for WFH, Light Gaming or School Work.

1. Most of these units uses the DDR3 or DDR4 modules. Though given 1 year warranties, these modules, specially DDR3 ones, are already obselete. 3 out of the 4 top producers of DDR4 modules will stop production by December 2025 (1 already did). So you can imagine that in a year's time, your unit will contain obselete parts. Go for DDR5 modules.

2. Most carry only a 256gb (or worst, a 128gb) Sata SSD. Yes. They're faster than Mechanical HDD. But Sata SSD is also looming on the obselete horizon. NVMe, M.2 with the latest versions are a bit more costly but are more stable & faster.

3. Motherboards is the super highway of your CPU. Most of these budget PCs, that has branded Mobos are usually old models (stocks). While some carry more recent models, their brands are unknown & are usually generics.

While most of these PCs can run Windows 11, consequent OS & program updates, succeeding software installations & heavy usage results in lags, sluggish response, system errors, overheating, which exposes the true value of these unit.

Don't get me wrong. I know most people are tightly budgeted when it comes to PC builds. I just wish that shops that offer these bundles also tell their customers of what to expect in the long run.

Never expect the performance & longevity of a High-End unit from a budget PC. That is wishful thinking.

Attention: Windows' 10 & 11 users... these are critical updates... but... as we all know by now, new updates, specially rushed ones from Microsoft tends to be flawed & has been known to cause problems. So back-up your systems before doing so...
