Never settle for less. Achieve better results with Armored Komodo Heavy Industries primers. These are lacquer-based, pre-thinned, and mmm cheap 😉.

For those who ordered the Arkom Gloss Black, stocks are arriving this week. Meanwhile, please take time to read this very important reminder. :)

Now that the Chromaflair pigments and their light curing base coats have been out in the market for a couple of weeks now, a couple of reminders for everyone.

â–ºThe light curing base coats are, as the name suggests, light sensitive. Sunlight in particular will spoil it, even if indirect. When not in use, try and keep the bottle in a box or inside a drawer. The paint will form small globules/beads if not properly shielded. Please take note, very important.
â–º Try not to tamper with the mix anymore by adding more thinner. During our tests, the uv component of the paint turns into a milky white liquid when mixed with a thinner it is not compatible with. The paint will spray well using a 20-25 psi setting. Remember, this was developed to make things easier in handbrushing Chromaflairs, so it is a bit different from the normal gloss black base coats we're used to. It has a different formulation compared with ArKom's other paints.
â–º We will release a normal gloss black base coat for use with metallic paints. It will be cheaper and will have a normal paint formulation.
â–º And lastly, enjoy the new process. No one else is doing it worldwide, just us (for now atleast). Let's be trailblazers in coming up with new ways to paint.

Did you know that you can apply the light curing gloss black via sponge on edges and corners, then dab gunmetal pigments ontop afterwards? You can add another layer using silver pigments too. So don't limit the product to just high gloss metallics. You can use it to do weathering as well. Think outside the box!
