𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | CEd seniors gear up for field deployment pre-deployment seminar - PART 1

As the field deployment draws near, the fourth-year students of the College of Education (CEd) attend the B.A.T.A II - Boses at Adhikain Tungo sa Adbokasiya: Tungo sa Bayan Pre-Deployment Seminar held at Central Luzon State University (CLSU) Auditorium yesterday, July 6.

The whole-day seminar equipped future educators with essential knowledge and skills before their deployment through a series of sessions covering the Department of Education's prescribed lesson plan format, the academic calendar, first-aid training, field study orientation, and professional expectations.

During the morning session, Dr. Mary Queen P. Orpilla, Education Program Supervisor–Filipino discussed the ILAW (Intentions, Learning Experiences, Assessments, Ways Forward) format that can be used by future educators on designing their learner-centered and outcome-based instructions. Followed by delivering the three-term calendar of DepEd through Ma'am Mercedita D. Saldero, Education Program Supervisor - GMRC/Values Education.

Moreover, powering the seminar in the afternoon is having First-Aid Training facilitated by Dr. Jumel Miller, highlighting the importance of being safe and knowledgeable enough to face unexpected circumstances in school settings. Additionally, Dr. Joel Torres, Field Study Coordinator, reminded the students to become the best version of themselves and uphold professionalism at all times.

To ensure full participation, organizers required attendees to remain until the conclusion of the seminar to receive their certificates, which will serve as one of the requirements for their Field Study course. Dr. Torres also clarified that the tentative deployment date on July 13 remains subject to change, assuring the students that further updates will be communicated accordingly.
