Communicators for Development

𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠 𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗚 🎥 🏳️‍🌈

The Communicators for Development (CODE), in partnership with the University Gender and Development Office (UGADO), successfully held the film viewing for its short film competition entries, 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 2026: 𝙁𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘿𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙄𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨, 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚, last April 17, 2026 at the R&E Amphitheater.

The production teams, together with students and their supporters, gathered with enthusiasm and excitement to witness the masterpieces from the four productions: I Wish We Had More Time by Sciven Studios; Dun sa Puno ng Kamatsile by Muni-Muni Production; To Die A Second Time by Sine CLSU; and Kalimbahin by Para Kai Production. The event also served as the awarding ceremony for the competition.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Mark Bryan T. Gusi, CODE Adviser, emphasized the importance of collaborations in advocating for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community, noting, “Everyone deserves to be loved regardless of gender.” On behalf of the organization, he also expressed his appreciation and encouraged everyone to continue supporting and participating in such activities, while reaffirming the organization's commitment to making the competition more organized next year.

In collaboration with the 𝗖𝗟𝗦𝗨 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 and the 𝗖𝗟𝗦𝗨 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹, this event empowers Filipino women with the theme:
