Day 2 of LSS Enhancement Day 2026 took place on April 8, 2025, at the CSPC STA Room, featuring engaging sessions to boost confidence and journalistic skills. The morning session, Ready, Set, Speak: Building Confidence in On-The-Spot Speaking, was led by Ms. Flordeliza A. Borromeo, LPT, MAEd. She shared practical tips on spontaneous speaking, effective communication, and self-assurance, drawing from her extensive experience as an educator and English specialist.

The afternoon session, The Art of Fact-Checking and Effective Reporting, was conducted by Johan Alvie P. Abinal, an award-winning campus journalist. Students participated in a hands-on workshop, practicing news writing, verifying sources, and crafting accurate reports, strengthening their reporting skills and critical thinking.

Concluding the two-day event, participants left with enhanced language, communication, and reporting skills, equipped with knowledge and confidence to excel in academic and professional settings. LSS Enhancement Day 2026 successfully fostered growth, learning, and inspiration for all attendees. ✨

Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of our heroes, especially those who stood their ground during the Fall of Bataan in World War II and all those who have shown bravery in defending our country.

Their courage in the face of hardship reminds us that true strength is found in resilience, unity, and love for our nation. May their legacy inspire us to stand for what is right, serve with pride and integrity, and carry their courage in our daily lives.

This achievement reflects his dedication, leadership, and contributions to both the academic and community spheres.

The finalists will now proceed to the next stage of the selection process, where they will be further evaluated to determine the official Ten Outstanding Students of Bicol.

The 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 (𝗟𝗦𝗦) proudly presents the featured seminar-workshop for the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 of LSS Enhancement Day 2026. This session brings together distinguished speakers in the field of language and education.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻
𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

The first speaker is 𝗠𝗿. 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖. 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗮, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, a dedicated educator and researcher with expertise in academic and technical writing. A graduate of Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies from Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, he has also completed his Certificate in Professional Education at Ateneo de Naga University and is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in English Language Studies at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. He previously served as a Technical Writer and Instructor I at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges and has published research papers in national and international journals. He is currently serving as a panel secretary for the Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies program at the College of Arts and Sciences of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges.

𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰: 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

The second speaker is 𝗠𝘀. 𝗘𝗹𝘀𝗮 𝗕. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗼, 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗟, an accomplished educator with a strong background in English and legal studies. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Ateneo de Naga University and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nueva Caceres. She has completed academic requirements (CAR) in her Ph.D. in English Language Education at the Philippine Normal University. She is currently a Teacher VI in the DepEd Iriga City Division and previously served as an instructor at Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, handling courses such as Technical Writing, Language and Society, and Language and Power.
