Regional Poster Making Contest

This online Regional Poster Making Contest is one of the initiatives of the CyberSafe Schools Project – National Capital Region for this year’s celebration of Safer Internet Day for Children Philippines 2021.

WHO MAY JOIN?

1. The contest is open to elementary and junior high school students from 10 partner schools of the CyberSafe Schools Project in the 3 Schools Division Offices of the National Capital Region

a. Schools Division Office of Caloocan
i. Kaunlaran Elementary School
ii. Silanganan Elementary School
iii. Macario B. Asistio, Sr. High School Main
iv. Macario B. Asistio, Sr., Highs School Unit 1
b. Schools Division Office of Malabon
i. Imelda Elementary School
ii. Acacia National High School
c. Schools Division Office of Navotas
i. Dagat-dagatan Elementary School
ii. Kapitbahayan Elementary School
iii. Tangos National High School
iv. Kaunlaran High School

2. Elementary students from Grades 4-6 and High School students from Grades 7-10 are eligible to join the contents.

CONTEST THEME

The Regional Poster Making Contest will adopt the theme of this year's celebration of Safer Internet Day Philippines 2021, Bagong Normal: Ligtas na Internet for All.

ENTRY AND SUBMISSION RULES

1. A participating student is allowed to submit ONLY ONE (1) entry.
2. The artwork may be drawn on any material with dimensions 8x11 and using any available coloring materials at home.
3. The artwork must depict the theme: Bagong Normal: Ligtas na Internet for All.
4. The artwork should not contain the participant’s name, organization’s name, the logo of any product/brand as a material or content in the poster. More so it must not contain any offensive contents.

DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION

1. A photo of the artwork and accomplished entry form must be submitted to the CyberSafe Schools Project through https://www.facebook.com/CyberSafeSchoolsProjectNPMO or email [email protected] with the assistance/conformance of an adult guardian/parent/teacher.
2. Entries should be submitted on or before 8 February 2021, Monday.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Posters will be judged according to the following criteria:
● Relevance to the theme - 40%
● Creativity and Presentation - 30%
● Originality - 30%

WINNER AND PRIZES

1. Winners will be announced via the CyberSafe Schools Project’s page https://www.facebook.com/CyberSafeSchoolsProjectNPMO on 19 February 2021.
2. Three (3) winners from each categories (Elementary and High School) will receive:
a. Certificate
b. PhP500.00 worth of mobile load;
c. 64GB OTG-USB drive; and
d. 10 kilos of rice.
2. Consolation prizes will also be provided.
