April 17, 2026 - Closing Program of the 51st Training on the Construction, Repair, and Maintenance of FRP Boats held in Sagñay, Camarines Sur. This event marked the successful culmination of the training program and served as a meaningful gathering to honor the participants’ dedication, perseverance, and newly acquired skills.

November 22, 2025 - The BFAR–NMFDC staff and personnel, led by Ms. Rhoda S. Bacordo, MGM, OIC-NMFDC, joined the Coastal Clean-Up and Mangrove Planting Activity spearheaded by the Coast Guard Inspector General and Internal Affairs Service of the Philippine Coast Guard. The event, themed “Driving Change, Planting Hope,” was held at the Dampalit Megadike in Malabon City, Manila.

The Awarding and Turnover Ceremony of Five (5) Units 30-Footer FRP Flat Boats was held at the BFAR Provincial Fisheries Office in Luna, Apayao.
This initiative aims to strengthen the capacity of local fisherfolk by providing durable fishing vessels that ensure their safety and efficiency in fishing operations.
