βππππ || Aklan State University - New Washington Campus β National Service Training Program (NSTP) Graduation Ceremony for the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) and Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) was successfully held on 23 MAY 2026 at the ASU Student Center. The activity formally recognized the accomplishments, dedication, and service of the ROTC cadets and CWTS students who successfully completed their training requirements.

βThe program officially started with the Arrival of Honor led by C/LTC MEACA ELA R PASTRANA 1CL, and Entrance of Colors, followed by an opening prayer led by Sgt. Ronel F Isturis PA (Res). Then everyone proudly sang the Philippine National Anthem and the ASU Hymn, creating an atmosphere of patriotism and unity among the Graduates, Committees, Guests, Military Instructors, and Visitors.

βThe opening part of the ceremony continued with the Welcome Remarks delivered by Prof. Leah D. Dela Cruz, Administrative Officer V on behalf of Prof. Francis I. Renacido, Campus Director, who warmly welcomed everyone and congratulated the graduates for their hard work and perseverance. This was followed by the Statement of Purpose given by Prof. Richard E. Dionisio, NSTP Director, emphasizing the importance of NSTP in developing discipline, leadership, volunteerism, and love for country among the students.

βThe Introduction of the Guest Speaker was delivered by MAJ JUANITO N MANGAOANG PA (RES), ASU ROTCU Commandant. Afterwards, the guest speaker, COL DELFIN C CONSOLACION JR. INF (GSC) PA, Director of the 601st CDC and Deputy Group Commander of 6RCDG, RESCOM, PA, shared an inspiring message to the graduates. He encouraged the students to become responsible citizens, continue serving the community, and uphold the values of discipline, integrity, and patriotism learned through NSTP training.

βFollowing the inspirational message, the awarding of the Certificate and Token of Appreciation to the guest speaker was conducted by Prof. Leah D. Dela Cruz, Administrative Officer V on behalf of Prof. Francis I. Renacido, and Prof. Richard E. Dionisio as a gesture of gratitude for his valuable presence and support to the institution.

βThe ceremony then proceeded with the Presentation of ROTC Graduates led by MAJ JUANITO N MANGAOANG PA (RES), followed by the official Declaration of Graduates by COL DELFIN C CONSOLACION JR. INF (GSC) PA. The ROTC graduates were then formally turned over to the Standby Reserve, symbolizing their readiness to serve the nation whenever needed. This was followed by the Acceptance and Oath of Reservist administered by MAJ CLINTON A CANDELARIO PA (RES).

βMeanwhile, the Presentation of CWTS Graduates was led by Cpl. Monessa T Salvador PN (Res), NSTP Chairperson. The Reading of Awards followed, recognizing the outstanding performance and achievements of selected ROTC and CWTS students. The ROTC awards were presented by SSgt. Jomer L Neron (AGS) PA, while the CWTS awards were presented by Mr. Geril C. Agustino, LPT, and Ms. Edgel May R. Ricablanca, LPT.

βTo add entertainment and showcase student talents, an intermission number was performed by the CWTS students. The program concluded with the Closing Remarks delivered by C/COL SHANDON KRISTOFF Y GINOY 1CL, ASU ROTCU Corps Commander, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The Exit of Colors by ROTC officers and the mass singing of βPilipinas Kong Mahalβ marked the formal closing of the ceremony.

βThe NSTP Graduation Ceremony ended with a photo opportunity, leaving the graduates with memorable experiences and a renewed sense of responsibility, patriotism, and commitment to serve the community and the nation.

βππππ || Aklan State University - New Washington Campus ROTC Unit, New Washington, Aklan, Conducted the Firing Activities for Cadets on 23 MAY 2026, held at 82nd Infantry Battalion,3rd Infantry Division, Camp Jizmundo, Libas, Banga, Aklan.
OOA 0700H, the activity started with the lecture about the fundamentals of marksmanship presided by SSg Roy P Dugenio (Inf), PA. Followed by the activity proper. The activity involves the use of the M16A1 rifle and is part of the prescribed Program of Instruction (POI) for all ROTC cadets. It is designed to cultivate a capable, ready, and well-trained Reserve Force, aligning with the programβs goal of building a reliable pool of citizen-soldiers. Officials emphasized that all participating cadets have secured written consent from their parents or guardians prior to the activity, ensuring full awareness and approval from families.
Said activity ended at about 1130H the same day, after the checking of attendance.

βππππ || Aklan State University - New Washington Campus ROTC Unit, New Washington, Aklan, Conducted the Special Instruction on 09 MAY 2026, held at ASU New Washington Campus.

βOOA 0700H, 2Lt Juneto C Soberano PA (Res), Tactical Officer, together with Msg Cesar P Gellangcanao PA (Res), and Sgt Ronel F Isturis PA (Res) under the supervision of 601CDC, Conducted the Special Instruction held at Aklan State University-New Washington Campus, New Washington, Aklan. The activity commenced with the mass formation of cadets, followed by the conduct of the CIVAC. Then the cadets were separated according to their designated activities in preparation for upcoming NSTP ROTC-CWTS Commencement Exercises 2026 and Familiarization of Firing. Said activity ended at about 1630H the same day, after the checking of attendance.
