In celebration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2026, the Department of Labor and Employment- MIMAROPA through Romblon Provincial Office, in collaboration with the Department of Health (DOH) and PhilHealth, convened a high-level session today for employers and employees in the private sector to address the evolving landscape of Occupational Safety and Health that include both physical and psychological well-being.

While we continue to prioritize physical standards, we are leaning heavily into the importance of mental health. By addressing stress and anxiety head-on, we aren't just preventing injuries—we’re fostering a more resilient, productive, and empowered workforce for the MIMAROPA region.

Department of Labor and Employment - MIMAROPA

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) MIMAROPA, in coordination with PESO Santa Fe, successfully conducted a Technical Advisory Visit (TAV) to selected micro establishments in the municipality.
The activity aims to provide guidance and technical assistance to ensure compliance with labor standards and occupational safety and health, while strengthening partnerships with local businesses.
The activity was facilitated by Ms. Lorraine V. Mayor (Labor Employment Officer III) and Mr. Mark Oliver Maaño (Labor Employment Officer II), who served as resource persons, with support and coordination from PESO Santa Fe.
Together, we continue to promote a safe, fair, and productive working environment for all.
