With the resounding success of the recent Dinagyang Digital 2021 spearheaded by the Iloilo Festivals Foundation Inc., co-organized by the Iloilo City Government, we are once again taking into the virtual platform the oldest sailing event in Asia - another festival that we are very proud to have, the Iloilo-Guimaras Paraw Regatta Digital 2021!

This is a manifestation of our strong commitment to continue celebrating our rich cultures and traditions despite being confronted with the challenges of this pandemic, because our identy as Ilonggos is truly worth celebrating.

Paraw Regatta 2020 postponed again.

SUMMER ARTS, PARAW REGATTA FESTS POSTPONED - Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas

In the light of the present situation of COVID-19 in the country and the various protocols suggested by the DOH and WHO, I am hereby directing that the Iloilo Summer Arts Festival be transferred to October of this year. By then the situation would have already improved and concerns with COVID-19 would hopefully have diminished.

The Paraw Regatta Festival will have to be postponed for the same reasons. I will sit down with the organizers to discuss what date is most feasible under the circumstances.

I will be sitting down with the school authorities to discuss what best should be done about scheduled baccalaureate masses and graduation ceremonies.

The safety of all Ilonggos is the paramount consideration for all our decisions.

48th ILOILO PARAW REGATTA FESTIVAL to sail from April 1-5,2020!

Yesterday, Mayor Jerry P. Treñas had a meeting with the festival organizers and announced that the 48th Paraw Regatta Festival will resume on April 1-5, 2020.
