FREE OPERATION FOR CLEFT PALATE AND CLEFT LIP

Ang cleft lip at cleft palate ay parehong kondisyon na nangyayari habang nasa sinapupunan pa ang bata, pero magkaiba sila ng lokasyon at epekto:
🟡 Cleft Lip (Bingot)
May hiwa o bukas sa itaas na labi
Pwedeng maliit lang o umaabot hanggang ilong
Makikita agad sa labas ng mukha
Nakakaapekto sa itsura at minsan sa pagsuso o pagkain
🔵 Cleft Palate (Nganga)
May butas o hiwa sa loob ng bibig (ngalangala/palate)
Hindi agad nakikita sa labas, kailangan tingnan sa loob ng bibig
Mas nakakaapekto sa:
pagsuso/pagkain
pagsasalita
minsan paghinga
📌 Simpleng Pagkakaiba:
Cleft lip = sa labi (labas)
Cleft palate = sa ngalangala (loob ng bibig)
👉 Pwede ring mangyari na pareho silang present sa isang bata.
