Grateful for the meaningful and engaging Research Ethics Orientation with our research and capstone students from the College of Computer Studies, Engineering, and Architecture held at Campus 2 GF SJ Library last February 11, 2026, 9:00–11:00 AM.
The orientation emphasized that research ethics protects people, not just projects. Student studies involving human participants and digital data require legal compliance, informed consent, and responsible data handling. Even small technical research can cause harm. Ethical accountability, data privacy, and public safety must guide every engineering, IT, and architecture research endeavor.
Thank you to everyone who listened and committed to doing research the right way. Integrity is not an extra requirement. It is the foundation.
