In celebration of the Earth Day 2022, with the theme "Invest in Our Planet," the Mathematics and Science Department held a Digital Photography Contest. This contest is open to all bona fide students of the Palompon Institute of Technology. The digital photographs showcased the creativity of the students in showing how they could help save and sustain our own planet, Earth.

We are proud to announce the winners for this year's PIT Earth Day 2022 Digital Photography Contest:
1st Place: Ivy Domael (BSEd English)
2nd Place: Saira Mae Salvejo (BSed English)
3rd Place: Howie Smart Beray (BSMT)

They will receive cash prizes and certificates of recognition.

The Mathematics and Science Department joins the international community in celebrating the Earth Day 2022 on April 22, 2022. The celebration is an annual event that aims to demonstrate support for the environmental protection. This year, Earth Day has the theme "Invest in our planet."

As the saying goes: “A picture paints a thousand words.” Mathematics and Science Department (PIT-MSD) believes that photography has the power to inspire, teach and raise mindfulness into safeguarding our planet, Earth.

In celebration of the Earth Month 2022, the Mathematics and Science Department (MSD) holds the Earth Month 2022 Digital Photography Contest.

The only acceptable manipulation includes correction of red-eye, cropping, and straightening of photos. No added text, color manipulations, or other digital enhancements.
