Lord of heaven and earth,today as we celebrate the to heaven of Your Son Jesus Christ,may we be reminded that we too who believe in Him will also ascend to heaven to share in your glory. We ask for the grace of faithfulness in doing Your commandment to love and to serve You and our neighbors so that when time comes we too will join the angels and saints in heaven You have prepared for us.

Lord, how comforting it is to hear that You will not leave us orphans in today's gospel reading. Time and time again, You assure us of Your abiding presence enough for us to feel joy and peace amid the mess and chaos around us. We put our lives under Your loving care because You alone are the ultimate font of our hope, strength and consolation. Amen.🙏🏼🤍
