𝓒𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓼, 𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓭𝓾𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓼! 🎓
Students of the Personal Finance Class under the Salvacion Ward Welfare and Self-Reliance Program celebrated their graduation last May 17, 2026, at the Salvacion Chapel. The gathering marked the successful completion of the course and recognized the efforts of each participant in building greater self-reliance and financial responsibility.

Graduates included Carl Jay Micabani, Carly Jenn Micabani, Siardon-Miguel Ocampo, Lein Boy Cabaluna, Clint Kevin Real, Richard Sumatra, Neal Reggie Micabani, and Bishop Marl Jude Roy Macabenta. Graduates were joined by their families and by the WSR Specialists Brother Alleen Mark Barret and Sister Reyna Angelica Barret, WSR Group Facilitator Sister Cahmea Flor Cirunay, and Stake Welfare and Self-Reliance Specialist Sister Jennifer Zenith.

In his concluding message, President William Zenith, Second Counselor in the Panabo Philippines Stake Presidency, encouraged everyone to remain resilient and confident in facing life’s challenges. He reminded the graduates to continue applying the principles they learned and invited others to attend future Welfare and Self-Reliance classes to gain new skills and discover opportunities for growth and improvement.

The Welfare and Self-Reliance Program of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps individuals and families become spiritually and temporally stronger through education, employment, personal finance, and other life skills. As taught by the Church, “The Lord’s way of caring for the needy is different from the world’s way.” (General Handbook 22.0).

The 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 will be dedicated on 𝘚𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘔𝘢𝘺 3, 2026, in a sacred service led by Elder Dale G. Renlund. This is a special and historic day for members in Mindanao.

Members of the Panabo Philippines Stake are invited to watch the live broadcast at 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹. A rebroadcast will be available at 𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠. Please note that there will be no regular Sunday meetings on this day.

Attendance is for members with a current temple recommend. Children ages 8–11 may attend with a temple dedication recommend from their bishop.
