Great Teachers Don’t just give answers; they inspire learners to Think Deeply.

As the Day 2 continuation of the Strategies for Holistic Teaching and Faculty Professional Growth: An Induction Pedagogic Enrichment Program, the teachers of Maryknoll College of Panabo, Inc., once again engaged in meaningful learning sessions facilitated by Dr. Guillermo Quintero.

Anchored on the theme, “Gaining Mastery Over the Art of Keeping Learners Actively Engaged,” Session 4 focused on the strategic use of insightful questioning to stimulate critical thinking, deepen understanding, and encourage active learner participation. The session highlighted the importance of moving beyond simple information recall by asking purposeful and thought-provoking questions that inspire curiosity, reflection, and meaningful learning experiences.

Through activities like this, educators continue to strengthen their ability to create dynamic, learner-centered classrooms that nurture future innovators, critical thinkers, and globally competitive individuals.

A new academic year begins with new opportunities, shared goals, and renewed commitment as our Grade School and Junior High School teachers gathered for the IBED Faculty Starter last May 11, 2026, at the JHS AVR.

This meaningful assembly served as a time of orientation, collaboration, and connection as faculty members were formally welcomed and introduced to the department. It also became an avenue to present the IBED Academic Council, discuss faculty assignments, subject loads, and grade level designations in preparation for another productive and purpose-driven school year.

More than an administrative gathering, the IBED Faculty Starter symbolizes unity, teamwork, and a shared mission of providing quality and transformative education to our learners. As each educator takes on their respective roles and responsibilities, may this school year be filled with passion, growth, cooperation, and excellence in service. Together, let us continue building a learning environment grounded in competence, compassion, and commitment.
