Two words from him are enough to put your world in slowmo during reportings, he’s the kind of teacher who makes you tremble yet enjoy the class at the same time. The teacher who makes you ask yourself “how?” but still earns a round of applause after an hour of discussion.

Today, we celebrate the life of our STEM Catalyst, Sir 𝑺𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏 𝑰𝒄𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒕! A mentor whose expertise ignites the students’ passion for Science, and whose brilliance sparks curiosity even on the things often overlooked.

Students from Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics of Pandan School of Arts and Trades officially kicked off the School-Based Math Fair 2025, with a fun-filled Math Exhibit and Photobooth specially made for Tradeans.

Meanwhile E-Modulo Seminar-Workshop and Math Quiz exclusive for Grade 10 and 12 students is scheduled this afternoon and will be held at Grade 12-STEM Classroom.

Frog dissection allows Grade-11 STEM students to explore real-life biological structures, reinforcing lessons learned in textbooks. It provides a hands-on learning experience that enhances understanding of organ systems and their functions. This activity also helps students develop important laboratory skills such as careful observation and proper use of scientific tools.

By studying a frog’s internal anatomy, students can see the similarities between amphibian and human body systems, making biology more relatable. The dissection process encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.

A meeting conducted by the PSAT school clinic headed by School Nurse-Designate Shervin S. Icawat, which includes our sanitary inspector (Maam Shirly Dominguez), Municipal Health Officer (Dr. Ma. Theresa DG. Mariano), and food handlers from the school canteen, is crucial for ensuring the health and safety of our students.

This collaboration allows for the sharing of essential health guidelines, proper food handling practices, and the establishment of protocols that promote a safe eating environment. By working together, we can enhance food safety standards and foster a culture of health within our school community.

Today's General Biology 1 class took our Grade 11 STEM students on an incredible journey into the miniature world! With both compound and digital microscope, they're getting a firsthand look at the wonders of the microscopic world. 🤩🔬

With the guide of their subject teacher Mr. Shervin Icawat, they learned to prepare slides, adjust focus, and identify various specimens. This hands-on experience was invaluable in developing their scientific skills and fostering a lifelong love of learning.👩‍🔬❤️‍🔥
