Balancing the duties of being an organization officer while striving for academic greatness is a difficult taskโbut with discipline, passion, and purpose, these student officers proudly received Latin Honors. This achievement demonstrates not only brilliance, but also resilience, time management, and a steadfast dedication to both leadership and study. Juggling meetings, events, and obligations while maintaining great academic achievement has taught the true meaning of perseverance and compassion. It's a reminder that with the correct perspective, you can lead, serve, and succeed all at the same time.

SCI-MATH celebration is annual event facilitated by Environmental Conservationist Organization (ECO), League of Future Mathematics Teacher (LFMT), SPECTRUM, & Society of Marine Biology Students (SMBS). For this year event Sci-Math celebration will be entitled SCIENTIA+MATHEMA 2025 with the theme: Exploring the Logic of Theorem and Phenomena of Science. This will be held at Multi-Purpose Building of CBSUA-Pasacao on April 11, 2025 (7:30am-5:00pm)
RATIONALE OF THE ACTIVITY
Science and Mathematics serve as the foundation of discovery, innovation, and
problem-solving, helping humanity understand the world through logical reasoning and
empirical evidence. Scientia+Mathema 2025: Exploring the Logic of Theorem and
Phenomena of Science aims to deepen appreciation for these disciplines by showcasing their interconnectedness in explaining natural phenomena and developing solutions for global challenges. This event will serve as a platform for students, educators, and professionals to engage in discussions, and hands-on activities that explore the
intersection of scientific inquiry, mathematical reasoning, technological advancements, and environmental sustainability that contribute to societal development, fostering a deeper
awareness of the urgent need for climate action.
Incorporating the principles of Gender and Development (GAD), this event also
emphasizes the importance of inclusivity and equality in scientific and environmental
efforts. Scientia+Mathema 2025 will promote gender-balanced participation in science and
mathematics by highlighting the contributions of women in climate science, and
technological innovations. This program promote breaking gender biases as the event will inspire and empower individuals of all backgrounds to take an active role in scientific
research, environmental advocacy, and sustainable development initiatives. By fostering an inclusive environment, this celebration of science and math aligns with global efforts to create equitable opportunities for all, ensuring that every individual can contribute to
shaping a sustainable future.
Furthermore, this activity directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), and SDG 15 (Life on Land). By promoting scientific literacy, critical thinking, and technological innovations, the event advances quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. The emphasis on gender inclusivity aligns with the goal of achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls in science and environmental leadership. It also eventโs focus on climate awareness and sustainability contributes to climate action and the protection of terrestrial ecosystems.
Scientia+Mathema 2025: Exploring the Logic of Theorem and Phenomena of Science
is more than just a celebration of scientific and mathematical excellenceโit is a call to
action for climate awareness, gender equality, and sustainable development. By bridging
these disciplines with pressing global issues, the event fosters a deeper understanding of
how science and mathematics can drive solutions for climate change while ensuring
inclusivity and equal opportunities in all genders. Through active participation,
collaboration, and innovation, students, educators, and professionals can contribute to
meaningful change, reinforcing the critical role of science and math in shaping a more
sustainable and equitable future. As we move forward, it is essential to empower all
individuals, regardless of gender or background, to engage in scientific discovery and environmental advocacy, ensuring that the logic of theorems and the phenomena of
science lead to real-world progress for generations to come.

On behalf of Environmental Conservationist Organization (ECO), we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Environmental Science Society (CBSUA-Pili) for inviting us to participate in SARARO: Earth Encounter (Leaders Edition). It was an incredible experience that we truly enjoyed!
Participating in this kind of activity was a transformative experience that deepened our understanding of environmental leadership and the spiritual connection we share with the natural world. Gathering as leaders from the BS Environmental Science organizations across four CBSUA campuses, we engaged in activities that not only strengthened our bond as a community but also reinforced our responsibility as stewards of the Earth.
One of the most profound moments was our experience with the Spirit Animal activity. This allowed us to connect with the natural world in a way that goes beyond scientific understanding. It reminded us that animals are not just part of ecosystems but also hold intrinsic value in the spiritual and emotional fabric of life. Through this, we developed a deeper sense of respect and kinship with all living beings. The talk on ECO-Spirituality brought everything together. It emphasized the idea that environmentalism is not just about policies and conservation efforts; it is also about our personal and collective relationship with the Earth. The team-building activities were equally meaningful. These exercises challenged us to communicate, collaborate, and trust one another, highlighting the importance of unity in environmental advocacy.
Not only did we have so much fun engaging in the activities, but we also gained valuable knowledge and eye-opening realizations. As student leaders advocating for environmental awareness, this experience has deepened our commitment to making a difference. The learnings we took away will surely guide us in our efforts to inspire and take action for a more sustainable future.
We truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication that went into organizing this meaningful event. Thank you for giving us this opportunity, and we look forward to more collaborations in the future!
We would also like to acknowledge our Campus Administrator Kristine May C. Regaspi and BSES Chairperson Gesille C. Evangelista for allowing us to use the CBSUA-Pasacao Mini-Bus. Being the first to ride the vehicle was an honor for us. Thank you so much for your kind approval.
Overall, SARARO: Earth Encounter (Leaders Edition) was more than just a gathering; it was an awakening. It reminded us that leadership is not just about guiding others but about fostering a profound respect for the natural world. Moving forward, we carry with us not only knowledge and skills but also a renewed sense of purpose to protect and cherish our planet, together, as one.
