Eight years ago, I became a mother to the boy who would quietly shape my entire world. 💙

He doesn’t just celebrate birthdays — he creates new versions of me every year. More patient. More intentional. More grateful. Because of him and his sister, I learned that love isn’t always loud… sometimes it’s steady, resilient, and deeply beautiful.

Mako Bakes didn’t begin as a business. It started with a simple desire — I just wanted to learn how to bake cookies and sweet treats for my kids. I wanted them to have something made by mama, something warm from our own kitchen. That was it. No big plans. No big dreams. Just love.

But love has a way of growing.

From small batches at home to celebrating milestones with all of you, this brand was built from the heart of our little family. Every late night baking, every custom cake, every achievement — it all traces back to my two greatest inspirations.
