Today, marking the beginning of Fire Prevention Month, the Bureau of Fire Protection advocates for the theme, "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-Iisa."

Its month-long initiatives—including seminars on fire safety awareness that seek to reduce fire accidents across the country—aim to inform and motivate people to take precautions to prevent potentially deadly fires.

It is a long month of promoting life-saving practices and home fire safety education. Be safe, Taga-Ed!

Our training director, Mr. Alexander James Gabrino is included in the 85 man team that will go to Turkey for search and rescue operations for the victims of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake last Monday, Feb 6.
