A significant step toward a more transparent and competitive power industry.

On June 9, 2026, IEMOP and PCC formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement at the IEMOP Office in Pasig City.

Led by Lt. Gen. Ralph Villanueva (Ret.), Chairman of the IEMOP Board, Engr. Robinson P. Descanzo, IEMOP President and CEO, and Dr. Kenneth V. Tanate, PCC Executive Director, the agreement strengthens cooperation in market monitoring, information sharing, and capacity building to support a fair and reliable electricity market for all Filipinos.
