In compliance with DepEd Order No. 60 series of 2021, Carusikis and Tadao Elementary School encourages our learners as well as our parents to participate in the DepEd National Calisthenics Program. This program aims to:
(a) promote an active lifestyle to Filipinos that will benefit both their physical and socio-emotional well-being;
(b) improve strength, flexibility, cardio-vascular endurance, coordination, and balance;
(c) enhance cultural awareness by integrating Philippine cultures in the calisthenics exercises; and
(d) inculctae nationalism, unity, and discipline.
As schools slowly beginning to reopen, we would like our learners to start learning this exercise as we will use it when we
finally meet face-to-face.
