Let's reflect on reading the words of the Lord from Romans 12:1–2

12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Paul calls believers to a full, committed life of worship, not just through rituals, but by dedicating their whole selves to God. Instead of following worldly ways, Christians are invited to be transformed inwardly by renewing their minds. This transformation helps them understand and live out God’s perfect plan, reflecting His mercy and grace in everyday life.

Let's reflect on reading the words of the Lord from Mark 12:31

31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Jesus teaches that loving others is just as important as loving God. This command sums up how we should treat people, with the same care, respect, and compassion we desire for ourselves. It’s a call to selfless, active love that reflects the heart of God in everyday life.

23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Encourage believers to give their best effort in everything, viewing their work as service to God rather than just people. This mindset brings purpose and dignity to all tasks, reminding us that our true reward comes from God, who sees and honors our faithful work.

8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

This verse sums up what God desires from us: living with justice, showing kindness and mercy to others, and maintaining humility before Him. It’s a call to live a life marked by fairness, compassion, and deep reverence, not just empty rituals.
