The 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 (𝐏𝐀𝐅𝐓) - 𝐁𝐔𝐏𝐂 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 successfully hosted the "𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐀𝐅𝐓-𝐁𝐔𝐏𝐂 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓" on 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 from 𝟖:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 at the 𝐅𝐓𝐁𝟑 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦.The event was originally planned on 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 and was rescheduled due to important academic responsibilities.

With the theme “𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡: 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭, 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞,” the event sparked deep reflection and heartfelt conversations among the graduating students as they approached the end of their academic journey.

As the final batch of the Food Technology program at Bicol University Polangui, the recollection served as a celebration of memories and milestones achieved throughout their four-year journey. It became a meaningful opportunity to honor the legacy of the program while fostering unity, gratitude, and introspection.

Participants looked back on their personal and collective experiences—acknowledging setbacks, celebrating triumphs, and cherishing joyful memories. The program also opened hearts and minds to the profound values of love, hope, faith, and forgiveness.

Distinguished facilitators, 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍 and 𝐏𝐓𝐑. 𝐓𝐄𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎 𝐎. 𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐂, experts in spirituality, were invited to enrich the event. They shared powerful insights into life’s deeper meaning, guiding the students through moments of reflection. Through interactive sessions, students engaged with the speakers, exchanged personal stories, and shared life lessons that inspired a renewed sense of purpose.

The recollection left a lasting impact, offering a memorable and transformative experience for the graduating class—united in strength, ready to rise, and reignited with purpose.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊|| The Undergraduate Seminar, themed "𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞," was successfully held at BU Polangui Dormstel on 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, by the Philippine Association of Food Technologists (PAFT) BUPC Chapter under the guidance of Prof. April Joy B. Nuez.

The success of the event was made possible with the dedication and support of all the officers and organizers, participants from BU Guinobatan, esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Joshua Carl B. Barcelon, PAFT-BUPC Chapter Adviser, Prof. April Joy B. Nuez, course coordinator, Prof. Dexter Sarte, and BU Guinobatan Professor, Prof. Girly Olavario. The Philippine Association of Food Technologists-BUPC Chapter is conducting an undergraduate seminar themed "𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞" on 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 4, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, 9:𝟎𝟎 A𝐌 𝐭𝐨 12:𝟎𝟎 NN, that will take place at 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢, 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥.

This seminar seeks to spark meaningful discussions on the critical issue of food security—one of the most pressing challenges facing both the local and global communities. This will provide participants the opportunity to deepen their understanding of food security issues such as hunger, malnutrition, and sustainable food production, which will be delivered by guest speakers whose expertise is in food technology.

The seminar is designed to inspire participants to think creatively and collaboratively about how to ensure equitable access to nutritious foods for all, fostering a generation of food advocates committed to making a positive impact.
