Calling all badminton enthusiasts! The President Roxas Badminton Open is set to take flight on May 17-18, 2025, at the President Roxas Municipal Gymnasium in celebration of the 58th Founding Anniversary of President Roxas.

Tournament Rules!

1. Round Robin
Every category shall be bracketed. There will be 4 entries per bracket. The top 2 teams of each bracket shall advance to the Knockout stage.
NO TIE BREAK. NO SLIDE. In case of a double tie, matches won (win-over-the-other) shall prevail. For triple tie, total points each pair shall be added to determine the winning pair.

2. KNOCKOUT STAGE.
a draw lots will be conducted to determine the matching of the qualifiying rounds. The two (2) remaining pairs will battle it out in the Final round. NO TIE BREAK. NO SLIDE.

3. SCORING FORMAT
The scoring format is 1-31. Change court at 16. NO SLIDE.

4. TIME
The attendance and opening program will start at exactly 7:45am. Players are encouraged to arrive before 7:30am so that games can start on time. Games will start at 8:00 am.

5. Registration.
Players are required to pay the registration on or before Sept 04, 2024 (5:00pm) There are limited slots only. However, if slots are still not filled, we will be accepting additional 100php registration of walk-ins. Any cancellation thereafter shall not be refunded.

6. FOR doubles 12 under and 17 under. We are requiring you to bring a copy of your Birth Certificate/PSA/Passport or any legal papers that confirms your age.

Note: It shall be the responsibility of all players to check their schedule of matches and all the implementing guidelines as posted. In all other matters not covered by the preceding rules, the decision of the Organizational Committee shall be final and irrevocable. A thorough screening of a player will also be done for the bracketing. No complaints shall be entertained concerning leveling and bracketing on the day of the tournament. However, the committee is very much open to hearing advice and comments essential for future tournament consideration.
