The Palawan State University - College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, in collaboration with the Puerto Princesa City Health Office (Sanitation Division), will conduct a Basic Food Safety for Food Handlers Seminar on May 15, 2026, 7:30am-12:00nn at the PalawanSU - Performing Arts Center.

This seminar is open to Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management 1st Year and 2nd Year students, as well as Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management 3rd Year students, and aims to strengthen their knowledge and awareness of proper food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and food safety practices essential in the hospitality and tourism industry.
The seminar also serves as one of the requirements for securing a Food Handlerβs Health Certificate (Yellow Card) for food handlers.
