Ang kalinga ay ang maingat at may malasakit na pag-aaruga, sa sarili man o sa kapuwa, na nagpapakita ng pagmamahal, pag-unawa, at responsableng pag-aalaga.

Mahalaga ang kalinga dahil tinuturuan tayo nitong pahalagahan ang ating sarili at ang iba. Sa pamamagitan ng kalinga, nagiging mas maalaga tayo sa ating kalusugan, damdamin, at relasyon sa kapuwa.
