PART 2 is here!

Have you ever tried kiteboarding? If you live or travel to the Philippines, you must try!

Check out PART 2 below of this exclusive interview with Mr. Toti Reformado - a kiteboarding certified instructor for PCKA which is located in General Nakar, Quezon:

Q4: What makes Quezon an exciting destination in your opinion?

A4: Quezon (specifically Gen. Nakar), has been virtually un-touched. This is a great place to develop into an awesome chill-out place and a 365- day eco and sports tourism destination.

Q5: What makes Quezon and general nakar a good destination for kiteboarding?

A5: Given the total length of the Quezon Province coastline, and orientation to the Pacific Ocean, it gets good, clean and steady wind during the high season (Mid-October to March).

Q6: Is there Global interest in making general nakar part of any official tournaments?

A6: It is being considered to be one of the legs in Season 5 of the ICTSI-PKA Kite Tour. However, this does not stop PCKA together with the local government to organize and conduct its own invitational / open tournament!

Thank you Mr. Reformado for this brief and interesting interview!

Have you ever tried kiteboarding? If you live or travel to the Philippines, you must try!

Check out PART 1 of this exclusive interview with Mr. Toti Reformado - a kiteboarding certified instructor for PCKA which is located in General Nakar, Quezon:

Q1: What's the benefits of kiteboarding and what makes it exciting?

A1: Kiteboarding is an extreme sport. It is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is being considered to be included in the Olympics, together with windsurfing. With the new technology behind the equipment, and new teaching methods and updated safety procedures - kiteboarding is safe, extremely enjoyable and fulfilling.

Q2: Can anyone kiteboard? Do I need to be in shape? Any special requirement?

A2: Kiteboarding can be taught to a 12 year old and up. You need to know how to swim. Generally, one needs to be in fairly good shape, to try out one of our Discovery Courses - then make a decision to pursue this exhilarating water sport.

Q3: Can you tell us a bit about PCKA?

A3: PCKA has a pool of 11 IKO Certified Instructors ranging from Asst. Instructors to Level 2 Instructors.
The Intructors’ pool is a group of passionate Kiteboarders whose goal is to enjoy (and non-kiters too!), the sport of Kiteboarding in a very safe, fun and progressive manner.

PART 2 of the interview will be posted next week.
