Busy for God… pero AFK kay God?

Real talk.

Hindi porket nasa church ka lagi, nasa ministry GC, may practice, may meeting, may event — ibig sabihin close na kayo ni Lord.
Pwede kang:
✔️ Laging present sa activities
✔️ Active sa group chats
✔️ Laging may ginagawa for God
Pero lowbat na lowbat naman yung soul mo.
Serving God? Solid yan.
Privilege yan.

Pero hindi yan substitute sa relationship.
Ministry is overflow.

Hindi siya replacement.
Kapag mas excited ka sa tasks kaysa sa quiet time,
kapag mas sanay kang may ginagawa kaysa tahimik lang sa presence Niya,
kapag mas proud ka sa performance mo kaysa sa connection mo —
red flag na yun.

Remember Martha and Mary?
Parehong love ni Jesus.
Pero si Mary chose presence over pressure.
Minsan mas madaling mag-volunteer kaysa mag-surrender.
Mas madaling mag-lead kaysa umiyak sa prayer.
Mas madaling tumulong sa iba kaysa i-check yung sariling heart.
God is not impressed sa pagiging “super busy.”
Mas concern Siya kung connected ka pa ba.

So ask yourself:
Nagse-serve ba ako dahil mahal ko Siya?
O nagtatago lang ako sa pagiging busy?
You can do so much for God
pero slowly mawalan ng intimacy with Him.
Hindi mo kailangan mag-add ng more tasks.
Baka ang kailangan mo is mag-return..
Less performance. More presence.
Stay connected.

Hindi lang active — kundi anchored.

Ps- Always check our hearts when it comes serving, We can not do our task properly when our hearts is not for Him - in the bible says (Colossians 3:23
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”)

God is our hope, and our provider, so dont worry about anything because god can provide our needs.. He knows what our needs. Instead of worrying its better to pray to him than worry!

Love is patient. Love is kind. Love always forgives, trusts, supports, and endures. Love never fails. When every star in the heavens grows cold, and when silence lies once more on the face of the deep, three things will endure: faith, hope, and love.
